Don & Liz Moenich
Pastor
New Hope Community Church is blessed to have Don and Liz join our church family. Pastor Don brings us a passion for prayer and tremendous love for people. His charismatic teaching style is both engaging and thought provoking. Liz has spent years serving God in Christian school administration and as a professor to master-level college students.
Kari Collins
Worship Ministries
Kari and her husband, Gary, have ministered at New Hope Community Church since 2001. Kari’s Worship style is energetic, and her enthusiasm for Jesus Christ is contagious. She and Gary met and married at New Hope and share three lovely daughters. During the week, Kari enjoys teaching her outstanding 2nd-grade students at Irwin Academy School of Performing Arts for Victor Elementary School District.
Anja Powers
Student Ministries
Anja has been attending New Hope since 2005, when she was a high school student. Anja loves growing the relationship between her students and Jesus and wants to teach them a foundation for their faith as they grow into young adults. Anja also loves music and worshiping Jesus through song, which she incorporates into her ministry often. She and her husband, Philip, have five children.
Sandy Sooter
Children’s Ministry
Sandy Sooter has been the Children's Director at New Hope since 2009. Ms. Sandy leads the children's Sunday School classes, Children's Church, and TeamKid meetings weekly. In addition to leading our Children's Ministry, she is the Assistant Principal at Excelsior Charter School and is working toward a doctoral degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University. She and her husband, Sean, have five children. Her favorite thing to do is to teach kids about Jesus!
Gracie Cowley
Child Care Ministry
Gracie has been serving this ministry since 2011. She is passionate about laying a Biblical foundation for children and teaching them about Jesus at their level through Bible stories, music, and play. Gracie and her husband, Paul, are longtime members of New Hope Praise and often serve our Student Ministries. They enjoy spending time together with their beautiful daughter.
